The International Paralympic Committee has a total of 36 separate broadcast contracts in place for the London 2012 Games. IP President Sir Philip Craven, a SportAccord Convention speaker in past years, has claimed the cumulative television audience of the Paralympics across the 10 days of competition will hit four billion worldwide, up from 3.8 billion for the Beijing Paralympics. In the host nation of the London 2012 Paralympics, Channel 4 will show 150 hours on TV and approx. 350 hours online and on-demand 

NBC is not showing live coverage of the London Paralympics. The US broadcast network will only air a 90-minute wrap-up on Sept. 16, a week after the Games end. However, NBC Sports Network will also carry four 60-minute highlight programmes on cable, meaning total coverage will grow from last time around in 2008. NBC showed only one 90-minute programme from the Beijing Paralympics 

The European Broadcasting Union has signed a new media rights agreement for all FILA World and European Wrestling Championships from 2013 to 2016 inclusive. The new contract covers media rights in Europe four European and three World Championships. The EBU will be worldwide distribution partner for all FILA events on different platforms, inside and outside of Europe, and assist with media sales. FILA and the EBU have had a close partnership since 1988

US network CBS will show American college football from Dublin for the first time on September 1 with a most unusual 9 a.m. kickoff East Coast time in the USA.
