DHL SET TO PLAY IMPORTANT ROLE AS OFFICIAL LOGISTICS PARTNER OF SPORTACCORD CONVENTION 2014

SportAccord Convention is pleased to announce DHL as its Official Logistics Partner for the 12th edition of the Convention, taking place in Belek/Antalya, Turkey, 6-11 April 2014.

DHL's Trade Fairs and Events unit will be providing shipping services to SportAccord Convention. The express delivery service, which includes freight forwarding by air, sea road and rail, will be enjoyed by over 90 exhibitors including: Organising Committees; International Federations; cities and businesses from more than 35 countries. DHL will play an important role in assisting these organisations to raise brand awareness, launch initiatives and generate new business opportunities in front of key decision-makers in world sport.

The SportAccord Convention team will also be drawing on DHL's expertise to ensure that the event is equipped to provide an unrivalled experience for all delegates. DHL's recent partnerships also include an alliance with the British Olympic Association (BOA) ahead of the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics. Acting as Team GB's Official Logistics Partner, DHL will transport over eight tonnes of team supplies and equipment nearly 5,500 miles by air and ocean freight from Stockport in the UK to the Olympic Village in Sochi.
