SportAccord Convention is pleased to announce a new partnership with PwC, the leading global professional services company, which will see the Convention working closely with the PwC Global Sports Mega-Events Centre of Excellence.

The partnership demonstrates PwC's commitment to the global sports industry at a time when it is playing an integral role in the delivery of major events in Russia including the Kazan 2013 Universiade, and Sochi 2014 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.

Joining SportAccord Convention as a Gold Partner, PwC will be performing an economic impact study of the Convention in Saint Petersburg, as well as contributing content ideas and dissemination of key learnings taken from the various meetings and conference sessions to add value to all participants.

PwC has participated in SportAccord Convention as delegates over the years, most recently in Québec City, where Ron Bidulka of PwC Canada was a speaker on the Interactive Panel: Who Pays for What? and Bob Gruman of PwC Russia, PwC's Global Sports Mega-Events Centre of Excellence Leader, signed a cooperation agreement with the Lev Belousov, Head of the Russian International Olympic University at SAC.
