SportAccord Convention eMagazine reveals Taster for this year’s World Sport & Business Summit

LAUSANNE, Switzerland – SportAccord Convention eMagazine The Preview is available online today. As the most influential annual event owned by sport, the publication reveals what’s in store for the World Sport & Business Summit.

The 6-day annual gathering takes place from 19-24 April 2015 at the Sochi Expocentre, Russia and is attended by sport and industry key decision-makers, with broadcasting and media services sharing news, announcements, and key take-aways, worldwide.

Revealing some of the attractions at this year’s SportAccord Convention, the eMagazine provides information and video clips about this action-packed global event, as well as a glimpse of what’s new, and at the same time, gives viewers a flavour of the historical City of Sochi.

Official SportAccord Convention 2015 Signing Hosted by “Russia – Country of Sports” Forum

Chuvash Republic, Russia – President of SportAccord and SportAccord Convention, Mr. Marius L. Vizer joined many senior International and Russian leaders in sport to attend the

V International Sports Forum "Russia - Country of Sports" taking place in the Chuvash Republic. The Forum is held under the chairmanship of the President of the Russian Federation Mr. Vladimir Putin and focuses on development to improve the physical fitness and sports activities in the country.

The Forum provided an ideal back drop for the official signing ceremony for the upcoming SportAccord Convention taking place in Sochi, Russia from 19-24 April 2015. President Marius L. Vizer was joined by the Governor of the Krasnodar Region, Mr. Alexander Tkachev for the official signing of the agreement.    

Mr. Vizer said, “Bringing the SportAccord Convention to Sochi is the best way to integrate the Olympic Legacy for the benefit of global sport and local society in a joint project with SportAccord, which combines sport with business, integrating media, marketing, sports suppliers, energy, culture, art, and education”.
