Mr. Anderson is a licensed architect who is also a Senior Principal for HOK/ACT-Events based out of Salt Lake City, Utah that specializes in the design, construction and operations of major events and sports facilities throughout the United States and the world. His experiences include overseeing all aspects of venue planning, design and construction for all 21 major competition and non-competition Games venues for the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympics, event planning and design for all 30 competition venues for the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, the initial event master planning for many of the 2000 Sydney Olympic venue sites, director of planning and construction for the past 18 National Football League Super Bowls, chief architect for the 1994 Soccer World Cup in nine U.S. cities, head planner for the 1998 Goodwill Games and 1999 World Special Olympics, and planner for the past 4 Major League Baseball All-Star Games. He has also worked on over 30 major stadium and arena sports projects. This background has given Mr. Anderson a long-standing expertise in the design of sports and events facilities and their operations. He is also recognized for his unique experience in the design of temporary facilities and venues.
