Born 1948 in Hohenems (Vorarlberg, Austria). Chief of Press and Head of Marketing in a major textile and sports clothing company in Austria. Since 1992 FIS Director of Marketing & Communication with the FIS International Ski Federation.

Honorary activities
Between 1968 and 1988 youth work in various leading positions in Vorarlberg and Austria, for example Chairman of the Catholic Youth of Vorarlberg and President of the Catholic Youth of Austria. From 1972 to 1986 work with various media:
Producer of the youth TV magazine with ORF Vorarlberg and free lance journalist with the ORF Church Radio. Print media: Head of the editing staff of the Austrian youth magazine „Pfeil“ and the youth page in the „Vorarlberger Volksblatt“.

Chairman of the PR and Media Committee of the International Ski Federation (FIS) from 1978 to 2000.
